Recently, I received this unsolicited email from Jamal Caesar. It exemplifies the spirit of not only this, THE CASTING DIRECTORY and its community component THE CASTING DIRECTORY*SOCIAL, but also the ethos of any vital creative community in the performing arts, in which every member not only fulfills their own responsibilities toward achieving excellence, but that they also contribute to the success of their colleagues, as well.

If every Director shared as Jamal has done, (and others have) everyone's work would be the better for it. And everyone would benefit from that.
